Kayser Ridge is Cliff Kayser’s home in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, created as a place where people can slow down, gather around a real question, and do work that benefits from nature, hospitality, attention, and time together.
It was built around a simple belief: small groups can accomplish big things when the place supports the purpose. When a gathering is the right fit, Cliff works with the group to clarify the people, intention, timing, and form before making a commitment.

Kayser Ridge is Cliff Kayser’s mountaintop home and a place for small-group learning, reflection, and connection near Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Cliff envisioned it as a nature-based alternative to hotel and conference rooms—a setting where people could step away from everyday demands, think deeply, and be together differently.
Cliff imagined the place; people who knew what they were doing helped bring it to life. The Kayser name honors his late grandfather, Willard Cliff Kayser, Sr., and his late father, Willard C. Kayser, Jr., carrying forward a family lineage that remains part of the Ridge’s story.
Set on 40 wooded mountain acres about two hours from Washington, D.C., Kayser Ridge offers indoor and outdoor space for focused work, quiet reflection, shared meals, and unhurried connection. Broad decks open to panoramic mountain views, while cairns throughout the property have become part of both the landscape and the continuing Kayser Ridge story.
Today, Kayser Ridge hosts selected retreats, learning experiences, and invited gatherings designed to help small groups accomplish big things.
