Lori graduated from Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program in 2013 and attained a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology in 2016. She spent 15 years as a Registered Investment Advisor with AIG VALIC helping private, non-profit, and individuals attain their financial and retirement goals.
In 2010, Lori co-founded Team Tony Cancer Foundation in Sarasota, FL to provide resources and services to those facing the devastating diagnosis of cancer. In 2018, the Cancer Connection Center opened its doors. Lori designed and supervised the construction of this unique, one-of-a-kind space to ensure those facing cancer have a safe, warm, supportive environment to receive the critical resources and services as they navigate all the unknowns of cancer.
Lori developed and facilitates the Teammate Training for cancer survivors and caregivers to support them in their important role as a Teammate. A Teammate shares their experiences with cancer to inspire and support those about to face the difficult journey of cancer.
Lori coaches cancer fighters and witnesses on a daily basis how empowering the coaching methodology is in guiding her clients through the ambiguity, twists and turns, and challenges and celebrations of their cancer journey.
Leaders face unprecedented complexities today. Lori supports her clients is seeing what was once invisible, visible so they can move to their preferred future faster with greater impact and higher performance. She is honored to join her clients as they actively participate in shaping their lives and achieving their desired outcomes.
Through her journey with multiple cancer diagnoses, the paralysis of her left leg, and managing an “incurable” form of cancer, Lori learned how coaching and leveraging polarities could lead to a life of thriving under uncertainty. In 2014, she joined her brother Cliff Kayser, Founder of Xperience LLC, to use her life and experiences to support her clients in creating more meaning, purpose and greater satisfaction in their lives. She’s a bibliophile, lover of coffee and podcasts and in her free time, you may find her building a LEGO or playing with her beloved dog Ava.
